Lille fans were treat to a moment of magic from Hatem Ben Arfa and Newcastle January transfer target Sven Botman over the weekend.
The Magpies' pursuit of the Dutch centre-back was one of the transfer sagas of the January window, and the Toon hierarchy were left understandably frustrated to have missed out on one of their top targets, with Lille remaining firm on their stance of keeping the Dutch centre-back until the summer.
Reports claim Eddie Howe's side will revisit the potential deal in the summer and Newcastle fans will be hoping former Toon talisman, Ben Arfa, will help sell the dream.
The 34-year-old signed a short term deal with the French champions until the end of the summer and combined with Botman to equalise for Lille against PSG at the weekend.
The Frenchman showed great skill down the left-hand flank, leaving a number of PSG defenders in a heap, before cutting back to Botman who powered an effort into the back of the net.
The goal proved to be a consolation as Mauricio Pocchetino's side ran out 5-1 winners.
Nonetheless, there was something special about the finish, with Newcastle's past, and potential future combining.
