Hasim Rahman Jr faces a hefty weight cut to make the 200lb limit for his fight with Jake Paul, but the heavyweight looks to be in excellent shape just over a week out from the clash.
Rahman Jr takes on Paul on August 6 in the YouTube star's sixth professional fight. Rahman, the son of a former heavyweight champion, filled in for Love Island star Tommy Fury when he failed to guarantee he could travel to the US for the fight after being denied entry to the country for the fight's press conference.
Holding a professional record of 12-1, all of Rahman's fights so far have taken place at heavyweight but he must weigh in at 200lb to face Paul. Rahman tipped the scale at 224lb for his last outing, a stoppage loss to Tommy Morrison, whilst Paul has comfortably made the cruiserweight limit by weighing 190lb for most of his fights.
Rahman has shown off his lean frame 10 days out from the fight whilst predicting that Paul will retire from boxing and join his brother Logan in pursuing WWE after August 6. "I believe that he's going to retire after this fight, I don't think there's going to be a rematch," he told The Schmo.
"When I get through with him, I think given his response and mannerisms after the first Woodley fight, he seemed he was on the verge of not doing this anymore. So when I'm finished with him, I think he's going to completely step away from the sport. Paul is going to fall man.

"This is it for him, this is it for you Jacob. It's over for you, it's a wrap. Go ahead and go over to the WWE with your brother. They are two boys from Ohio so they can go ahead and kick it off in the WWE, but this is boxing and this is a real fight. I'm going to punish this boy."
Paul is yet to face an 'actual boxer' but has been praised for taking a short-notice clash with Rahman, who made his professional debut in 2017 and has six knockouts under his belt. A rehydration clause in the terms of the fight means Rahman will have to weigh-in at no more than 200lb on Friday and 215lb on Saturday morning. Paul recently defended his decision to implement a rehydration clause by pointing to Chris Eubank Jr's potential upcoming fight with Conor Benn.
