Has London reached 'peak rent'? Here's where room rents are falling fastest

After several years of skyrocketing rises, it seems that London has finally reached ‘peak rent’. According to data from SpareRoom, average room rents across the capital fell from £1,015 to £993 per month (two per cent) last year.

Data released this week by Hamptons shows rents paid by Londoners moving into new homes are down 0.7 per cent — the only area in the country to see a price reduction.
