Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has been told he has a bright future at Old Trafford as he continues to shine on loan with Sunderland.
Having joined United from Atalanta in January 2021 for a fee potentially rising to €40million with add-ons, the Ivory Coast international was handed early opportunities in the first team by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He was sent on loan to Rangers last season and temporarily signed for the Black Cats this summer.
Despite struggling in the Scottish Premiership and taking a little while to adjust to life in the Championship, he has dazzled at the Stadium of Light and beyond. Amad has netted seven goals in 22 outings for the club and he was also named Championship Player of the Month for December.

United do have a recall clause for the 20-year-old. However, it appears as though he will stay in the north east, for now, before pressing forward his claims for a regular place at Old Trafford next season.
Wes Brown was asked about forward Amad as part of a promotion for Casinos En Ligne. In that interview, the former United and Sunderland defender said: "Amad Diallo has a future at Manchester United.
"He'll get another chance, whether it's in pre-season or at the beginning of next season. It's all about ability and a little bit of luck with the big teams.
"You can see he's got talent and he's done really well at Sunderland, so now it's about showing whether he can push past the current players that are at Manchester United.
"He will definitely get another chance there."
