PANCHKULA: Even as the Panchkula municipal corporation has failed to implement its street vendor policy, it has decided to take legal action against unlicenced fruit and vegetable vendors. The MC has also decided not to build new vending zones till the existing sites start functioning.
Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal took a meeting of the town vending committee members at the MC office in Sector 14 with six agenda items listed for discussion. He told the officials that it was his priority to make the city encroachment free.
