CHANDIGARH: The Haryana education department has sacked a school guest teacher in Narnaund of Hisar for his alleged anti-government activities. The department action against Ajay Kumar Lohan has come despite him having taken a ‘No Objection Certificate’ to pursue his passion for freelancing.
“I got the relieving orders issued by the deputy director, education department, on Saturday,” Lohan told TOI on Sunday. He said the reason given for the termination of his services was his being active on electronic media. He has a media channel on YouTube. Lohan said the order states that regular teachers are charged on this account, but as there is no such rule for guest teachers, he has been sacked.
