GURUGRAM: The Haryana government has made Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) mandatory for power consumers, both existing and new ones.
PPP is basically a family identity card that contains details of all members, including their bank accounts. Consumers have two months to link their power connections with PPP. Most people in urban areas, however, don’t have a PPP. DHBVN, the discom, will organise camps to get PPPs made, officials said.
