GURUGRAM: Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday asked the MCG to immediately take over nine licensed colonies in Gurugram— Malibu Towne, Ardee City, Rosewood City, Greenwood City, Mayfield Garden, Uppal Southend, Vipul Garden and Sushant Lok 2 and 3. The takeover has been pending since November 2019.
With the takeover, the civic issues of these colonies — which are currently being taken care of by the respective developers — will come under the jurisdiction of the MCG. The residents will no longer have to pay maintenance fees to the developers, as the civic body will offer services and collect taxes.
