Harry Winks, Conor Gallagher and two other players Everton are 'tipped' to sign this summer

The summer transfer window is edging closer and clubs are already starting to get their business underway.

It's set to be a huge couple of months for manager Frank Lampard as he builds his squad ahead of the new season. After narrowly avoiding relegation last term, it's crucial the Blues kick on in 2022/23.

Widespread reports suggest Everton are closing in on their first signing in James Tarkowski. The defender is available on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Burnley.

But who else could Lampard sign this summer? Sky Bet has the latest transfer odds - accurate at the time of writing.

Harry Winks 3/1

Reports this week suggest the Everton boss is considering a move for Tottenham's Harry Winks as he looks to bring in midfield reinforcements in the coming weeks. The Telegraph claim he's on the list of targets.

It is believed the 26-year-old has been told he can leave the North London club this summer having fallen down the pecking order under Antonio Conte. He is, however, valued at around £20 million.

Budget restrictions may, according to the report, hinder any potential move and they would look to bring him in on a loan deal as opposed to a permanent one.

Dwight McNeil 4/1

Tarkowski isn't the only Burnley star Everton could look to sign this summer, with the Blues currently favourites to sign Dwight McNeil, according to the bookies.

The 22-year-old joined the Clarets in 2014 and progressed through the academy, earning promotion to the first team in 2018. However, following their relegation to the Championship, they may struggle to keep a hold of some of their key players.

McNeil is under contract until 2024 but he's previously attracted interest from the Blues with rumours circulating last year. Aston Villa have also been linked in recent times.

Conor Gallagher 7/2

Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher is another player rumoured to be high on Lampard's list of targets this summer. A move is made more complicated by the fact he's expected to be given a chance by Thomas Tuchel in pre season.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace and impressed in his 39 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals in the league. He's currently under contract at Chelsea until 2025.

He was named Palace's player of the season last term and it's no surprise they're among the clubs rumoured to be interested in him this summer.

Maxwel Cornet 9/2

Maxwel Cornet only joined Burnley last summer but their relegation has already thrown his future up in the air as he's reportedly attracting 'significant' interest. Everton are among the clubs linked with the Ivorian and they're currently second favourites to land his signature, according to the bookies.

West Ham sit top of the list with odds of 7/2 and the reports are no surprise given he scored nine goals and registered two assists in all competitions last season. Rumours suggest 'up to 10' Premier League clubs are interested in acquiring the player.

The likes of Leicester City and Newcastle have also been linked with the player, who, according to The Athletic, has a £17.5 million release clause in his contract following Burnley's relegation from the top flight.

Adama Traore 12/1

Wolves star Adama Traore has returned to the club following a brief loan spell with La Liga giants Barcelona. Reports in recent week have suggested he could be sold this summer and Everton are among the clubs rumoured to be interested.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a return to Spain, although Tottenham are currently favourites to sign him with odds of 7/1. It has been suggested Barcelona had the option to make his loan move permanent, but opted against it in a bid to pursue other targets.
