Former One Direction star Harry Styles dramatically halted his second show at Cardiff's Principality Stadium after becoming concerned about the welfare of a fan. The singer's shows are known for being a warm and welcoming environment but he went the extra mile on his final night in Cardiff by checking on a fan in the crowd who appeared to be struggling.
After a first night in which he stopped his sell-out gig to make sure a pregnant woman had time to get to the toilet and back (you can read about that whole exchange here) he took to the stage for the final night of his UK Love On Tour Shows in Cardiff on Wednesday, June 21.
He was a few songs into the set when he spotted something going on in the crowd. It's not clear what this was but one fan appeared to be worse for wear. The singer showed real concern, taking his earpiece out to ask: "You all right? Everyone good in there? Do you need anything?"
He asked for the fan's name and when she replied he asked the crowd to "make some noise for Cleo" then sweetly gave her his water bottle and promised: "There's some more agua coming your way" and made sure she had enough water before asking her: "Cleo, are you okay if we keep going?"
After a lengthy pause of several minutes he and his band resumed with the song She. The mood quickly picked up again with the former One Direction member asking the crowd: "What's occurrin' Cardiff?"
