Fans hoping for a loved-up display, or even a glimpse of longing, between Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde at the much-discussed Don't Worry, Darling premiere were disappointed.
The notoriously private couple kept things strictly professional as they walked the red carpet at Venice Film Festival earlier this week, and didn't even stand next to each other or sit together at the screening.
Harry, 28, stars as Florence Pugh's on-screen husband in the upcoming movie which was directed and co-produced by his now partner Olivia, 38, who he met working on the film.
The singer and the director were seen getting cosy on January 2021 and have often been spotted on dates since, although they've never publicly spoken about their romance.
Harry is known for keeping shtum about his personal life and a recent interview with Rolling Stone spoke about how he had never "publicly been with anyone".
It came after the interviewer raised the public's obsession with his sexuality.
The singer said in response: “Sometimes people say, ‘You’ve only publicly been with women,’ and I don’t think I’ve publicly been with anyone.
"If someone takes a picture of you with someone, it doesn’t mean you’re choosing to have a public relationship or something.”
On Monday night, Harry seemingly avoided standing next to girlfriend Olivia on the red carpet.
In a now-viral video, the As It Was singer was seen politely declining a member of Olivia's team's request to switch positions with his co-stars to stand next to her.
Olivia, Harry and co-stars Gemma Chan, Chris Pine, and Sydney Chandler were lining up for a group photo in front of the cameras.
The Watermelon Sugar singer was seen moving to stand next to Gemma and Sydney before a staff member ushered him to stand next to Olivia.
He seemingly refuses the request and remains standing in between his two co-stars.
Fans lost their minds on social media and took to Twitter to claim the singer refused to pose with his girlfriend.
"SOMEONE FROM OLIVIA'S TEAM ASKED HARRY TO TAKE PICTURES WITH HER/STAN NEXT TO HER AND HE SAID NO," one user exclaimed.
"This cast drama is soooo messy for no reason," one user posted while another added: "Harry's like, "Olivia? Don't know her.""
Harry and Olivia also arrived at film festival by separate boats.
The Don't Worry, Darling cast have already caused a frenzy online with a whole host of behind-the-scenes drama, such as an alleged feud between Olivia and leading lady Florence.
In the most recent twist, Twitter users were left questioning whether Harry had spat on Chris Pine's lap as he sat down for the premiere, after a video seemed to suggest it.
However, after nearly a day of speculation and social media going into a frenzy, Chris released a statement, denying it had happened.
