- Styles, who is scheduled to host and be the musical guest next week, explained he was there to observe and “get a feel for it”.
- Ryan Gosling appeared flustered by Styles' presence, with cameras repeatedly cutting to the pop star and even a crew member wearing an 'I (heart) Harry' T-shirt.
- Gosling jokingly asked for Styles, who was wearing a shirt that read ‘I hate you’ with a smiley face, to be removed from the screen as he attempted to continue his monologue.
- Styles will return to SNL on 14 March for his second 'double duty' appearance, following the release of his fourth studio album, Kiss All The Time, Disco, Occasionally, and ahead of his global Together, Together tour.
