Harry Styles appears to have ditched his famous accent, with fans saying he's 'pulled a Liam Payne'.
The One Direction star, 28, left fans devastated after appearing to water down his beloved northern accent in a new interview.
The Watermelon Sugar singer has sat down to discuss his new album, Harry’s House, past relationships and where he stands with his former One Direction bandmates.
However viewers were distracted by the singer’s unusual accent.
One fan tweeted: "Absolutely losing my mind over Harry Styles’ new accent this morning what on earth."
"Obviously, I adore harry styles but why has he got an Australian accent all of a sudden," another said.
This is not the first time Harry's accent had been questioned - at the 2021 BRIT awards, he left viewers confused after appearing to debut an American accent.
The singer, originally from Worcester and grew up in Cheshire, accepted an award for Best British single for his hit Watermelon Sugar.
Making his acceptance speech at the O2 Arena, Harry said: “I continue to be baffled by moments like this. They make me more and more incredibly grateful to get to do this every day.
“I’m really happy to be here and proud to be celebrating British music tonight.”
But fans were left distracted by Harry's accent and took to Twitter to comment.
One tweeted: "Omg has anyone noticed harry styles’ slight American accent #brits2021."
While another commented: "Harry Styles accent confused me #brits2021."
Fellow former bandmate Liam was also caught out while speaking to GMB at the Oscars as fans pointed out his American accent.
