Harry Styles confirms nudity clause means fans won't see his todger in film

Harry Styles will have left some of his fans disappointed after dismissing full frontal nude scenes in his new film.

The former One Direction star has turned to the big screen as he builds his acting portfolio alongside his music career, where his third solo album - Harry's House - is on sale from today.

The 28-year-old will play the main lead in upcoming film, My Policeman, which is due for release this autumn on Prime Video.

In the romantic drama film, Harry plays a gay policeman in 1950s Britain who is married to a schoolteacher (Emma Corrin) while in a relationship with a man (David Dawson) - a secret they share but could also be the downfall for the three of them.

There were rumours of a fully naked Harry during some scenes of the film but he quickly squashed the speculation when speaking to a TV channel in the United States recently.

He said: "There’s no peen in the final cut. There’s bum bum. I don’t think the peen was intended to be involved. The peen, it was pre-negotiated that that would remain my own."

Fans may be upset by the revelation but they can take comfortable from the fact that My Policeman - based on the 2012 novel of the same name by Bethan Roberts - is not the only film that the singer will play a major role in this year.

A trailer for erotic psychological thriller, Don't Worry Darling, was released earlier this month where Styles plays Jack, the husband of 1950s housewife Alice (Florence Pugh) who lives in a utopian experimental community but starts to worry that there are hidden secrets among the residents.

The trailer for the film - directed by Harry's girlfirend Olivia Wilde, 38 - sent fans into frenzy as Styles engaged in a number steamy scenes, which includes performing oral sex on Alice on the dining table, sharing a passionate kiss and in bed together.

Don't Worry Darling comes out in cinemas on Friday, September 23.

He is also in the midst of his mammoth 117-show Love On Tour world tour, which started in September 2021 and due to end on March 7, 2023.

The European leg of the tour starts next month in Glasgow.
