Jarrod Bowen's performance on Sunday afternoon caught the eye of former West Ham manager Harry Redknapp who believes he could be 'in contention' for an England call-up.
Bowen scored his 12th goal of the season to give West Ham an early lead and provided an injury-time assist for Craig Dawson to seal a late point for the Hammers.
The powerful left-footed effort from Bowen was his eighth Premier League goal of the campaign, equalling his previous best from last season and double figures are well in his sights with 13 matches remaining.
The England hopeful now has 20 goal contributions in all competitions with eight assists and 12 goals in just 29 starts and Redknapp was impressed with the 25-year-old against Leicester.
"There’s just no stopping Jarrod Bowen at West Ham," Redknapp told BetVictor.
"He’s been on fire all season long and added another superb goal to his tally at the weekend.
"He was a constant threat, and his assist for Dawson’s late equaliser topped off a fine afternoon for a player that could be in contention for an England call-up."
Calls for Bowen to receive international recognition, with Teddy Sheringham joining Redknapp, is pushing the West Ham man's claims.
"I think he’s in and around it, he’s full of confidence at the moment. He’s exciting, he’s full of verve and he’s ready to take on any opposition," Sheringham told Genting Casino.
The former Hammer added: "I think he’s got a bit of everything, I really like him."
England are next in action in late March and early April when the Three Lions take on Switzerland and Ivory Coast in two friendly matches and Gareth Southgate's squad announcement will be eagerly anticipated by all at West Ham.
