Harry Redknapp delivers 'upside down' Nottingham Forest relegation verdict as Leeds point made

Harry Redknapp believes Nottingham Forest's win over Southampton gave them a great boost of Premier League survival.

Forest came away 4-3 winners against Saints last time out, as Steve Cooper's side climbed into 16th - just three points from the relegation zone. With three games left, the Reds face a tough run-in with trips to Chelsea and Crystal Palace on the final day.

They will also welcome Arsenal at the City Ground in the penultimate game of the season. As for their relegation rivals, Everton also boosted their survival hopes, after recording a crucial 5-1 win over Brighton on Monday.

Leeds and Leicester City meanwhile, were defeated by Manchester City and Fulham respectively. Ahead of this weekend's round of games, Redknapp has delivered his relegation verdict.

"Over the years, it's always been a very tough place to go Leeds," Redknapp told talkSPORT. "The crowd will be up for it, they'll have a right go - I'll be honest, I think they'll continue to get maybe a draw out of the game.

"Whether that gets three points, I'm not sure but that will be tight. Results last week, turned everything upside down, that result for Everton, that really did give them a great chance and Nottingham Forest winning.

"Now it looks like Leeds and Leicester City will be the two teams most likely to go."
