The Duke of Sussex became emotional as he praised "mums and dads" looking after seriously ill children during the WellChild awards.

Harry fought back tears during a speech at the conclusion of the ceremony, which recognised young people living life to the full despite complex medical needs, as he publicly acknowledged the effort of their parents.
