Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe admits he wanted makeover ahead of new movie

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has openly admitted he felt 'intimidated' when working on new action film The Lost City, and wanted a bodybuilding makeover.

Lightning-scar star Daniel has revealed that he requested a makeover before working alongside a star-studded cast of actors in The Lost City, as Channing Tatum and Brad Pritt were 'intimidating' figures.

Radcliffe admitted working alongside Magic Mike star Channing Tatum and Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt had him feeling self-conscious about his own look, reports ScreenRant.

In a recent radio interview, Daniel said: "This is 100 per cent the best I have ever looked on camera. I went in and was like ‘guys, I am in a film with Channing Tatum and Brad Pitt, you need to do something about this face and the hair.’

"So, they gave me a very very nice haircut which I still have, it is just how I look now, and they put me in amazing suits.”

The Lost City stars Daniel as Abigal Fairfax, an eccentric billionaire and international criminal who kidnaps Loretta in order to find the lost city.

The Lost City surrounds Sandra Bullock as Loretta Sage, a reclusive author who writes about exotic places in her popular adventure novels that feature a handsome cover model named Alan.

While on tour promoting her new book with Alan, Loretta gets kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire who hopes she can lead him to an ancient city's lost treasure from her latest story.

Determined to prove he can be a hero in real life and not just on the pages of her books, Alan sets off to rescue her.

Earlier on this month, Edinburgh Live reported that Daniel shared a 'weird' story on Good Morning Britain while filming for his new movie.

The lightning-scar star was chatting to ITV hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard when Ben asked: "Is it true that she [Sandra Bullock] asked for your autograph?"

Daniel grinned and said: "Not for her! I would love to say that Sandra Bullock asked for my autograph, but it was for her sister, as she is a Potter fan."

Ben then replied: "I mean, that's still quite cool, right? The fact that Sandra Bullock asked you for your autograph in order to impress her own family."

Daniel agreed: "I mean yeah it is cool, it's weird, I don't get it.

"My mind is blown by the idea that my autograph will impress anyone, but it was very flattering."

You can watch grown-up Harry Potter Daniel in the new 2022 film The Lost City, in cinemas right now.
