Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has been spotted out with his new baby, confirming he has become a dad for the first time.
The actor, 33, who played the famous boy wizard in the blockbuster franchise, kept a low profile with a mask and baseball cap as he pushed a pram in New York City, joined by his long-term girlfriend Erin Darke.
Daniel and Erin met in 2012, and earlier this year confirmed they were expecting a child, with a source saying they "couldn't be happier."
The Lost City actor is not the first Harry Potter child star to become a parent, and we've taken a look at which Hogwarts names have welcomed their own bundles of joy.
Rupert Grint
Rupert, who played Harry's best friend, Ron Weasley, welcomed his first child in 2020 with partner Georgia Groome, who have been dating since 2011.
Rupert shared a sweet selfie of himself and his baby on Instagram, writing: "Hey Instagram....only 10 years late, but here I am. Grint on the Gram! Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert."
Fans of the wizarding world will be pleased to know the on-screen best friends still speak.
Chatting on America's Today Show, Daniel said: "Absolutely [we're in touch]. We're not as close as we once were but I [recently] text Rupert because of his baby.
"I mean that is still wild to me that we are now at the stage were we are having kids and I'm sure that is a fact that makes the rest of the world feel very old."
Jessie Cave
In March 2022, Jessie Cave, who played Gryffindor Lavender Brown, announced in March last year that she has welcomed her fourth child with partner Alfie Brown.
The star uploaded an adorable snap of her breastfeeding her newborn, who she has proudly named Becker.
Her partner Alfie wrote on the post: "Welcome Becker Brown. Thank you to UCLH. Thank you to the midwives Amy and Emi-Lou. Thank you to Alisson Becker."
Among those sending well wishes was fellow Harry Potter star Anna Shaffer who wrote: "WELL DONE TEAM!!! Gorgeous gorgeous, welcome Becker, can’t wait to meet you."
Comedian Alfie and actress Jessie are already parents to Donnie, Margot, and Abraham.
Devon Murray
Known for playing Harry and Ron's dormmate Seamus Finnigan, actor Devon Murray became a dad for the first time in January 2021.
The star and his partner Shannon McCaffrey Quinn are parents to Cooper Michael Murray, with Devon announcing the happy news on Instagram.
Devon shared an image of a cupcake with a blue foot in icing along with a congratulations card on a table in hospital, while out-of-focus in the background a baby can be seen wrapped in a blue blanket.
He captioned the image: "Yesterday 2/1/21 my life changed forever. Shannon delivered our beautiful little boy ‘Cooper Michael Murray’ weighing 6lbs 10oz."
Going on, he said: "I can’t wait to make the most amazing memories with Shannon and Cooper as we begin our little family. I’m so amazed by Shannon and she is now my Hero. I’m so proud of her for everything she has gone through."
Afshan Azad
Padma Patil actress Afshan and her husband Nabil Kaz were delighted to welcome a baby girl, after the former child star announced her pregnancy in April 2021.
Afshan played the Ravenclaw in five of the hit films, who famously had a terrible date with Ron at the Yule Bull.
In July 2021, Afshan announced: "Our Princess is finally here!" and said they were in the "ultimate bubble of love."
The Harry Potter star and husband Nabil married in 2018 with many of the Harry Potter film stars attending the wedding.
The likes of Katie Leung, who played Harry's love interest Cho Chang, and Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasly, were on the guest list.
