Harry Kane: Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy meets Bayern Munich to discuss potential transfer

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy met with Bayern Munich club officials on Thursday to discuss a potential deal for Harry Kane.

Kane’s future is again the subject of summer uncertainty but he is expected to join the rest of Ange Postecoglou's squad flying out to Australia later on Friday for the club's pre-season tour.

German giants Bayern Munich have made Kane their top transfer target this summer and have seen two bids rejected by Spurs, the second understood to be worth around £70million plus add-ons.

Spurs have always maintained Kane is not for sale, despite the striker entering the final 12 months of his contract, but it is thought they would have to consider an offer in excess of £100m for their talisman.

The 29-year-old, who turns 30 later in July, has been offered a contract extension by Spurs which would vastly increase his current £200,000-a-week terms.

Kane is understood to be open to all possibilities this summer, including joining Bayern, but will not push for an exit like he did to no avail two years ago, when Manchester City made him a key transfer target.
