Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has 'guaranteed' Harry Kane will win the Premier League if he moves to Old Trafford.
United are monitoring the striker's contract situation at Tottenham Hotspur. The 29-year-old has 18 months left on his current deal and no talks have taken place since his failed attempt to join Manchester City back in 2021.
United are expected to go big for a forward at the end of the campaign, with Wout Weghorst's half-season loan a likely stop-gap for high-calibre summer investment, and Saha believes the arrival of Kane on M16 would provide both club and player with the Premier League title they so desire.
LATEST: Every word from Erik Ten Hag's pre-Forest press conference
“If Harry Kane goes to Manchester United, then I can guarantee that he’s going to win the Premier League," Saha told Betfair. "You can’t ask for much more as he knows the Premier League and he’s scored so many goals for Tottenham and the national team.
"With Manchester United’s current set-up and their approach to games tactically, then having a forward that can come into that team and score you 25 goals a season will be the last piece of the puzzle. You need somebody who can do the big job and the big job is to score 25 to 30 goals.”
United are interested in Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker whose 13 goals in 15 Serie A appearances has Napoli 12 points clear at the top of Serie A. Luciano Spalletti's side have been exhilarating this season and 24-year-old has been central to their success, but the Italian outfit are expected to demand at least €100million for their star.
