Jason Thomas Nichols, the 30-year-old California man whose unsettling Ring doorbell footage went viral this week, was scheduled to appear in Fairfield Superior Court today at 1:25 p.m. for his arraignment on four felony charges stemming from an incident in which he identified himself as a fictional wizard.
Solano County jail records show Nichols faces charges of first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury, criminal threats with intent to terrorise, and vandalism. His bail has been set at $35,000 (£26,000).
