Harry and Meghan's visit to UK will clash with important date for Queen

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are due to pay another visit to the UK but tis time it will clash with an important date for the Queen.

They are due to visit several charities "close to their hearts" while returning to the UK for the first time since the Platinum Jubilee.

The Sussexes will firstly attend the One Young World Summit in Manchester on Monday September 5, the Mirror reports.

The event brings together young leaders from more than 190 countries.

They will then head to Germany for the Invictus Games Dusseldorf 2023 One Year to Go event on the following day.

After that, they will return to the UK for the WellChild Awards in London on Thursday, September 8 where Harry will deliver a speech.

However, this is set to clash with a major date in the Queen's diary.

It is the same week that the Prime Minister will be announced and asked to form a government by Her Majesty.

The 96-year-old is expected to return to London from her annual summer break at Balmoral to carry out her official duty.

It is unlikely that the couple will be bringing their two children, Archie and Lili on the working trip to Prince Harry's homeland.

They travelled with their parents to the UK for the Jubilee and Lili celebrated her first birthday at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

However, she and her brother did not attend any public events.

Harry and Meghan also kept out of the limelight after the Queen decided that only working royals should appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Meanwhile, security is understood to be at the forefront of Harry’s mind as he travels from his new home in California.

The duke is bringing legal action over a decision not to allow him to pay for police protection for himself and his family in the UK.

Last month, he won a bid to bring a High Court claim against the Home Office.

It concerns the 2020 decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) over his security,

It comes after Prince Harry was told that he would no longer be given the “same degree” of personal protective security when visiting.

The royals have also been bracing themselves for the prince's upcoming book, expected to be published in late 2022.

He said the memoir, published by Penguin Random House, will be an "accurate and wholly truthful" account of his life.

It is thought it will tell of the rift with his brother, troubled relationship with his father and view of his stepmother.

In a controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey last year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle accused the royal family of racism.

They said an unnamed royal made a racist remark about Archie before he was born and the institution had failed to help a suicidal Meghan.
