Harry and Megan 'wanted better seats at Jubilee celebrations but were rebuffed on Queen's orders', author claims

Prince Harry and Megan Markle were forced to back down on a request for more prominent seats at the Platinum Jubilee celebrations on the Queen's orders, it has been claimed.

A royal author has alleged the couple initially asked others to move, until they discovered the seating arrangement had been approved by the Queen. The Sussexes made just one public appearance - at a service of thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral - when they travelled to the UK for the festivities last month.

The <irror reports that Prince Harry and Megan arrived at the venue alongside other non-working royals, including Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and their husbands.
