Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump's newly announced running mate, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, have not yet had a conversation as of this morning. However, according to a source familiar with the situation, their teams are currently coordinating to schedule a call for today.
It was reported that Vice President Harris had left a voicemail for Senator Vance shortly after President Trump revealed him as his vice presidential selection on Monday. Unfortunately, Vance missed the call as it came from an unknown number, and he was unable to return it. Subsequently, Vance's staff has been in contact with Harris' team to arrange a suitable time for a call.
