Harland and Wolff Welders have announced the signing of former Crusaders striker Jonny Frazer. The 26-year-old has joined the Welders on a permanent contract after spending the second half of last season on loan with the Championship club.
Frazer brings a wealth of Premiership experience to the Blanchflower Stadium, having previously played for clubs including Linfield, Glentoran and Warrenpoint Town.
The midfielder had his Crusaders contract terminated by mutual consent last weekend after spending one season with the Seaview club. Now he is preparing for another spell with the Welders who kick off their Championship campaign against Ards on August 13.

The Welders said: "Midfielder Jonny Frazer has joined the Welders from Premiership side Crusaders. Jonny was on loan at the Welders last season but has now moved to the club on a permanent move.
"Welcome back tot the club Jonny from everyone at the club."
Speaking back in February, Frazer outlined his Premiership ambitions as he set his sights on regular game time with the Welders.
He said: “There is no doubt in my mind that I have the ability to be playing regularly in the top-flight and scoring goals. I have always had a desire to be playing football – I’m not happy to not be playing and that is why I have had various loan deals in my career, because I want to be on the pitch.
“I want to get back to enjoying my football again – it is a great feeling to look forward to Saturdays again. This season at the Crues I was in and out of the team, but now I know that I can play and get a chance to make an impact.”
