Hariyali Amavasya 2026 will be observed on Wednesday, August 12, not August 11. The confusion has arisen because the Krishna Paksha Chaturdashi, observed as Sawan Shivratri, continues on August 11 and the Amavasya tithi begins in the early hours of August 12. According to Panchang, the Amavasya tithi begins at around 1:52 am on August 12 and ends at around 11:06 pm the same day.
