NEW DELHI: Pakistan's fiery fast bowler, Haris Rauf, spearheaded a relentless pace attack against Afghanistan, achieving a career-best five-wicket haul and propelling his team to a resounding 142-run victory in the first one-day international (ODI) in Hambantota, Sri Lanka on Tuesday.
Rauf's exceptional performance of 5-18 in 6.2 overs left Afghanistan struggling at their second-lowest ODI total of 59 runs, attained over a mere 19.2 overs. This remarkable feat followed Pakistan's batting innings, where they were dismissed for 201 runs in 47.1 overs.
