Grandmaster Dronavalli Harika, one of the senior members of the Indian women’s team for the upcoming Olympiad, is ready to embrace a new chapter in her life. The 31-year-old is pregnant with her first child. However, the World No. 10 is making sure that she not only manages her health but also gives ample time to training for the big-ticket event from her home in Hyderabad.
“It is an exciting phase of my life. I have been able to balance my health and the preparations for the Olympiad thanks to a very supportive husband Karteek and my family,” Harika told TOI.
