Hardik Pandya becomes World No. 1 T20I all-rounder

Hardik Pandya has risen two places to join Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga as the top-ranked men's T20I all-rounder. His notable performance, particularly in the final, where he took the crucial wickets of Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller, was instrumental.

Pandya is now the first Indian man to achieve the No.1 spot in this category.

Throughout the tournament, Pandya contributed significantly with both bat and ball. He scored 144 runs with a batting strike-rate of over 150 and secured 11 wickets.

His decisive performance came during the final match, where he took the wicket of Klaasen, shifting the momentum in India's favor.

Pandya's defining moment was in the final over of the game. With South Africa needing 16 runs to win, he successfully defended the score, leading India to the T20 World Cup title.

There were additional movements in the top 10 T20I all-rounder rankings.

Marcus Stoinis, Sikandar Raza, Shakib Al Hasan, and Liam Livingstone each moved up one position.

Conversely, Mohammad Nabi saw a decline, dropping four places to fall out of the top five.
