Happy Valley fans were shouting at the TV as they watched Sergeant Catherine Cawood take on her final ever mission, at her own house. Viewers were all pointing out the same issue as our hero took on her nemesis Tommy Lee Royce in what was to be their last showdown.
Catherine arrived home to find that someone, and that was pretty obvious who, had smashed a window to her home. And fans reacted with disbelief as the Yorkshire crime fighter went inside.
The toughest woman in TV walked in to find the escaped killer who had raped her late daughter sitting at her kitchen table with her family photo albums, attempting to take his own life with pills and booze. She drew a taser as she had an emotional last showdown with the psychopath.

But concerned viewers questioned why, if Tommy was a wanted man, why the house wasn't under surveillance. @rorygils6 asked on Twitter: "Would they not have had somebody watching the house?!"
@sstefedgarr said: "Surely Katherine’s house would be under police surveillance." And @Oldandbored1 wrote: "Hmm, broken window at my house. Escaped murderer on the run. I know I'll just enter the house for a sneaky look around with out letting anyone know. Ffs come on. This is b*******."
@EmeilieB begged: "Don't go in. Dont. .. DONT GO IN THE F****ING HOUSE!" And @quandromache shouted: "WHY ARE YOU IN THE HOUSE CATHERINE DONT BE IN THE HOUSE GET OUT OF THE HOUSE."
@FordRhetta tweeted: "So much screaming at the tv happening in this house." @SallyAnneWatts asked: "Why are you going into the house alone Catherine?" And @RhyLoosh echoed: "Do not go in that house, Jesus Catherine."
Fans also wondered why, when Catherine raised the alarm, assistance seemed to be taking so long. @horroraimee_ wondered: "How long does it take the police to get to catherine’s house ?!?! pressed for time here people chop chop."
