Happy Valley's James Norton is all set for his happy ever after as he prepares to get hitched to his actress fiancée.
James is engaged to talented Imogen Poots and plans are being put in place for their big day.
The pair have been together for five years and it was first revealed in February 2022 that he had proposed to his girlfriend.
But it's not always been easy for the couple with Imogen based for many months in the US with James, thankfully nothing like on-street villain Tommy Lee Royce in the BBC series, back in the UK.
At the beginning of their romance, the two had to navigate a long-distance relationship between New York and London.
Even living in different cities can test many but they weren't going to let thousands of miles come between them.
"It's all I've ever known, I've never known something to fall apart because of distance," she once said to Evening Standard.
"Sharing a bathroom, however, is quite another matter!"
Now, they enjoy a quiet life in a south-east London suburb and James often posting photos of his soon-to-be-wife on Instagram.
They had met on the set of War and Peace back in 2017 and sparks quickly began to fly.
James and Imogen then starred in Belleville together at the Donmar Warehouse.
But it seems they are in no hurry to get hitched.
They are said to be simply enjoying their engagement - but now the filming of Happy Valley has come to an end, could the wedding be getting closer?
Imogen shot to fame in the post-apocalyptic horror film 28 Weeks Later, and has since taken on many big roles in TV and films.
Lambeth-born James is also known for his appearances in the films Little Women and Nowhere Special.
He also had main roles in Grantchester, McMafia, The Trial of Christine Keeler and The Nevers.
Meanwhile, fiancée Imogen has appeared in the likes of V for Vendetta, 28 Weeks Later, Me and Orson Welles, Jane Eyre, Need for Speed, and many more hit movies.
She had roles in television and appeared in Casualty for an episode, Miss Austen Regrets, Roadies and I Know This Much Is True.
Imogen also opened up about staying away from social media, saying. "I'm not a fan because I'm seeing what it's doing to the generation below me, and that's really sad with mental health.
"I think it's a really slippery slope. It's intriguing to me but I also wonder, can you ever be authentic? Or is that not the point? Perhaps the point is to sell something."
James had previously dated Irish actress Jessie Buckley, with Jessie revealing at the time that the split was 'acrimonious'.
"We have broken up, yes. It was acrimonious, but it’s a tough job to have a relationship, and he is a great man, and we are great friends. That’s it. How diplomatic can I sound?" she told The Times.
