Happy Valley fans are finding it difficult to wait until this Sunday for what will be the final ever episode of the drama that has had the nation talking. With many loose ends needing tied up, the BBC has released a short trailer for the series three finale, and viewers have been sent into a frenzy.
Fans are trying to work out what it can all mean from a trailer that is just 16 seconds long. One of the scenes shows Ryan Cawood being questioned by police about when he last had contact with his psychopath father Tommy Lee Royce., who we last saw in hiding after escaping from court as he prepared to stand trial for murder.
At the end of episode five a conflicted Ryan and Tommy spoke via their games consoles and his twisted father was plotting for the pair to do a flit to Spain together. But viewers are aware that rapist and murderer Tommy is looking to exact revenge on Ryan's granny, Sergeant Catherine Cawood who he previously brutally attacked and hospitalised after she rescued Ann Gallagher from his clutches.
