The nip in the air is a sign that the much-loved Navratri festival is right around the corner. This festival is marked to pay our respects and love for all the 9 forms of Goddess Parvati.
People observe fasts, pray to the different forms of the Goddess as per each day, dance to garba, decorate their houses and eagerly prepare for the last day, the 10th day - Vijayadashami, also called Dussehra. People pray to the Goddess to give them strength, wisdom, happiness, wealth and peace.
