The United States crosses a milestone today that no living American has witnessed before: 250 years since the Declaration of Independence was signed. From the National Mall to Biscayne Bay, cities are marking the semiquincentennial with tall ships, benefit concerts, military flyovers and, in the nation's capital, a keynote address from President Donald Trump — all while triple-digit heat forces last-minute changes to the day's plans.
