A man has been arrested after a teenager was stabbed inside a corner shop in Hammersmith.
Police were called at 6.10am on Monday morning to an 18-year-old man suffering stab wounds in Fulham Palace Road.
The Met Police told the Standard the victim had left a shop before he was pushed back inside and stabbed.
The force added that the man had been “chased by a group of males” and the victim was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as non-life threatening and non-life changing.
One man has been arrested and taken into police custody, while detectives continue to try and identify outstanding suspects.
A cordon was in place outside the corner shop Best One on Fulham Palace Road throughout Monday, a neighbour told the Standard.
The Evening Standard has approached Best One for comment.
