A London council is facing a backlash after traffic-calming measures designed to make cycling safer were criticised in the council’s own reports for potentially putting cyclists at greater risk.
The borough of Hammersmith and Fulham installed nine planters and four seating decks on Wandsworth Bridge Road last year.
