Hamilton have sent defender Shaun Want out on loan to Peterhead for the remainder of this season.
The centre-back hasn't featured in the Championship for Accies since November and last appeared during the shock Scottish Cup loss to Auchinleck Talbot.
Want has made 11 appearances this season and 63 overall for the New Douglas Park side but now heads to League One for regular minutes.
Jim McInally's side recently lost to Dundee in the Scottish Cup but how they approached that game has helped convince Accies boss Taylor to let Want go.
McInally said: “I knew we had a chance of bringing in Shaun on Tuesday.
"We could not get it done on time for the Falkirk game however the fact that he came along and spoke to David Nicholls, Simon Ferry, and I as well as meeting the boys, showed us how much he wanted to come to Peterhead.
“He lost his place in the Hamilton team earlier this season after suffering a head injury however they have big hopes for him next season and see playing regularly for us as great preparation for that.
“The Accies boss, Stuart Taylor, has a very firm belief in how he wants his side to play football. He had watched our game with Dundee and saw that we played in the manner that he likes in terms of energy, passing and attacking.
“I don’t think we would have been able to bring Shaun in if we played the game in a different manner.”
