A pensioner was left with serious injuries following a one-vehicle crash on a Hamilton road.
The 82-year-old driver of a Vauxhall Mokka was rushed by ambulance to hospital following the collision at around 1.40pm on Wednesday (June 28) on Hillhouse Road. He received treatment at Wishaw General Hospital for injuries.
Police Scotland is now appealing for anyone with information about the crash to come forward to help with their investigation.

Sergeant Gemma Blackadder said: “We are carrying out further enquiries to establish the full circumstances, and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time that may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
“If you have dash-cam footage that could help with our investigation or saw what happened, please get in touch via 101, quoting incident number 1985 of Wednesday, 28 June, 2023.”
