Lewis Hamilton has backed Ferrari Formula 1 boss Fred Vasseur following speculation the Frenchman could be axed by the Italian team.

Despite sitting second in the constructors’ championship, Ferrari has made an indifferent start to the season and is currently 197 points behind leaders McLaren.
