Reegan Mimnaugh was the goal hero for Hamilton as they eased into the quarter-finals of the SPFL Trust Trophy, but the midfielder reckoned two teenagers were the standout players in the win over Inverness.
Both sides ended up fielding young sides with injury-ravaged Inverness forced to field a host of academy players, while Accies started with four teenagers and brought on four from the bench in the second half.
Good work by midfielder Lucas de Bolle led to Sam Nixon turning the ball into his own net inside three minutes, before Mimnaugh's close-range effort had the win in the bag just after the half-hour mark.
