Ismail Haniyeh, the Hamas political leader, is set to be buried in the Qatari capital of Doha on Friday following his assassination in Iran, as confirmed by the militant group in an official statement.
A funeral procession is scheduled to take place in Tehran, the capital of Iran, on Thursday. State-affiliated media outlets have reported that three days of public mourning will be observed in honor of Haniyeh.
