Halloween candy sold at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and Sierra stores is being recalled because the packaging failed to disclose that the product contains milk, creating a potentially serious risk for people with milk allergies.
Crystal Temptations of North Arlington, New Jersey, announced the recall of five varieties of its Halloween Chocolatey Eyeballs on August 31. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, people with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could experience a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the recalled candy.
