Halle Berry Open To Reprising Catwoman Role If She Directs.

Halle Berry American actress

Halle Berry, 58, recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she discussed the possibility of reprising her role as Catwoman, Patience Phillips. Berry expressed her willingness to return to the iconic character under one condition - if she could direct the project herself.

Reflecting on the negative critical reception of the 2004 film Catwoman, which currently holds an 8% score on Rotten Tomatoes, Berry shared that despite the initial criticism, she personally loved the movie. She expressed feeling vindicated as a new generation of viewers, particularly children who have discovered the film online, have embraced and enjoyed it.

Marking the 20th anniversary of Catwoman, Berry took to Instagram to share a series of racy photos celebrating her portrayal of the character. The actress posed topless with two black cats, paying homage to the superhero role that remains close to her heart.

In a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, Berry discussed her experience of winning a Razzie for Worst Actress for her performance in Catwoman. She humorously accepted the award at the ceremony in 2005, emphasizing that while she could take criticism in stride, her Oscar win remained a significant achievement.

Despite the initial challenges and criticisms surrounding Catwoman, Berry's enduring affection for the character and the positive reception from newer audiences have sparked discussions about a potential return to the role, with Berry expressing interest in directing any future Catwoman projects.
