Halim Flowers, from US prison cell to Paris art show

Wrongfully incarcerated as a teenager, Halim Flowers, now 42, fought for his release, which as finally granted in 2019. He has now found new life as an artist. An exhibition of his paintings has just opened in Paris.

Halim Ali Flowers was arrested in Washington DC in 1997 when he was 16. Despite his age, he was convicted as an adult and given two life sentences.
