Drugs worth half a million pounds and around £200k in cash was seized during home raids.
Officers on the Wirral Targeted Policing Team, working with Immigration and British Gas, were carrying out an operation in Bromborough, Wirral, when they raided a number of homes. More than £200k in cash was recovered, with a further estimated £500,000 worth of Class A pharmaceutical drugs seized.
Two men, both 42 and from Bromborough, were arrested on suspicion of the importation and supply of drugs and money laundering offences. They are in custody and being questioned by police.
