A single mum was told the devastating news she had cancer after feeling tired all the time.
As a hairdresser and the owner of her own salon, Liz Gleeson, from Crosby, was used to working long hours on her feet, so when she started feeling tired and lethargic she initially put it down to this. However, things later came to a head for Liz, 55, when she was rushed to Aintree Hospital and told she had sepsis - a life threatening condition which occurs when the immune system goes into overdrive as it tries to fight an infection.
