Hailie Jade, Eminem's daughter, has entered the Shady business.
The 26-year-old social media influencer has launched a weekly podcast, "Just a Little Shady," the title of which references Eminem's altar ego, Slim Shady. The first episode premiered Friday.
Hailie Jade, Eminem's daughter, is the host of a new podcast, "Just a Little Shady."
"I want this to be a place where I can share more about my life, talk about things I've never talked about, and just for you guys who have been with me for a long time get to know me a little better and just new people get to know me a little better," she says at the top of the first episode. She also promises "hot takes on current events."
She's joined by Brittany Ednie, a childhood friend whom she grew up with and has known since 2nd grade.
The podcast has more than 21,000 subscribers on YouTube and 52,000 followers on Instagram, and the first episode, titled "It's a Double Entendre," has more than 50,000 views on YouTube. It is also available on Spotify.
The 26-minute first episode includes talk of a recent trip Up North over the 4th of July holiday, the trend of young fans going to see the new "Minions" movie while dressed in suits, and binge-watching "Stranger Things."
"I don't want to sound too bandwagon," Hailie Jade says of the Netflix series, "but I'm obsessed."
Hailie Jade, a frequent topic of Eminem's lyrics and a sometimes collaborator — she appeared on 2002's "My Dad's Gone Crazy" — has built up a base of 2.8 million followers on Instagram and 968,000 followers on TikTok.
The Michigan State University graduate (full name: Hailie Jade Scott Mathers) has filed for a trademark under the company name Hailie Jade, LLC for a clothing line to sell hats, shirts, jackets and more, according to The Sun.
Eminem, meanwhile, will release "Curtain Call 2," his second greatest hits set, next month, and will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Los Angeles in November.
