'Had a nightmare' - Alan Shearer delivers brutal verdict on five Liverpool players in Wolves defeat

Alan Shearer Liverpool Joel Matip Jurgen Klopp Ruben Neves EPL Newcastle United Joe Gomez England

Alan Shearer has heavily criticised one Liverpool player following the defeat to Wolves - and singled out four others.

Liverpool suffered a miserable 3-0 reverse at Molineux in the Premier League clash on Saturday afternoon. It was the third consecutive away league loss for the struggling Reds, whose unbeaten run in the top flight now stands at four matches.

An early own goal from Joel Matip opened the scoring for Wolves, before a Craig Dawson header saw Jurgen Klopp's side go 2-0 down inside the first 12 minutes. Ruben Neves rounded off the scoring in the second half.
