Land earmarked for new homes in Gwynedd has gone on the market. Ty'n Y Weirglodd, in Penygroes, near Caernarfon, has been placed up for sale.
It includes two separate parcels of land measuring collectively at approximately 4.3 acres. Both sites have previously been allocated for housing but under the latest Gwynedd & Anglesey Joint Local Development Plan (JLDP) only the northern part of site B is marked for homes.
It is down for approximately 39 units on the plan with the supply of affordable housing a major issue in the county. The site is on the market with Beresford Adams. No price is given.
They said: "Two separate parcels of land measuring collectively at approximately 4.3 acres located in the popular village of Penygroes.
"The site is split into two parts (site A and site B). The whole of the site was either allocated for housing or within the development boundary for Penygroes on the Gwynedd UDP, however, in the recently adopted Gwynedd & Anglesey Joint Local Development Plan (JLDP) only the northern part of site B is allocated for housing.
